Editing: Background Music
Welcome back!I finished a lot of the editing I had to do. I picked the background music for my blog. I wanted to find music that was suspenseful but wasn’t too horror music vibes. I looked through the CapCut music options and I found one that I liked it. It took me awhile to find the music that I liked best because there was so many different options. While picking the music I had in mind the music that is used in sci-if movie from my previous research I have done.in previous research the music was like space music and ambient music. The one I went with was like that type of vibe. Then, I put the music throughout the whole video and it definitely made the video better. I used the same music throughout the whole video.
I wanted to create a flashback scenes where the characters remembers a moment that happened in the past. So the way I did this was by putting and black and white filter over the scene and I found a sound that sounded like the characters remembers was remembering a memory or past moment. To make it even more better I put a transition in the beginning and at the end of the scene. I did a fade in transition from the start and the end. Then I had to do the same thing again because the character has another flashback. I really liked doing this because it was my first time trying this out and It was one of my favorite things to edit. The next thing I did was try to fix the lighting of the film because I didn’t like the lighting that much and wanted to make it more better quality and like movie like quality. So I adjusted the different lighting setting and tried the filters and see what looked the best. After a while I decided on which ones to do and I liked the final result. The final result is like a natural lighting and slightly dark lighting. Thank you for watching and see you in the next blog.
