Planning Blog: Title Design

Font: For our fonts we will probably either use the same font to keep a continuous pattern or use fonts for different sections. For example will use different fonts for the director, actors, title, etc. It depends when we start the editing process.  Contrast: For our font color we have many different possibly colors that we will use. We might use white, black, or red. It depends on the background of the video and how it well it matches and making sure that the color is easy read to and not blend in with the background. Working Title: A possible movie title would be Zelphar. This might be our movie title because it's the name of the killer. How long will each title be on the screen before it disappears? It depends on how much we film but maybe about 10-30 seconds.

Planning Blog: Location, Participants, Health, Schedule

Location: For our location we will be going to a park. We found a park called TY Park which will be the park we will be filming at. We decided to pick this park because the scenic of the park was perfect and would be nice place to film at. Participants: Actors Andrea Jaden Luka Angelica  Filming Angelica Editing Jaden Directing Natalie Health: To ensure our safety, our parents will be on stand by to be able to provide supervision if someone thing were too go wrong. They will be able to have access to a phone if they need to call 911 in case of a emergency and will be providing first aid kits. For each scene, we will have water if needed in case if anyone is dehydrated. We also have breaks to make sure everyone is well rested and not overworked.  Schedule: 1. Arrive to location and set up. 3. Go over what needs to film. 2. Start filming. 3. Take breaks in between takes.

Title Research: Art of the Title Website & Watch the Titles Website

Welcome back again! This blog will be about researching for the title and the title design of our final exam. Since our film will be about horror, I'm looking for scary-looking title designs. Using the websites Art of the Title and Watch the Titles gives me various examples of what I'm looking for.  The title design to our opening sequence is crucial because not only does it match with the theme and show the name of the film, it also helps give a chance to show a piece of the plot, meaning, and the characters. And since the theme is horror, this will help add onto the dramatic weight the suspense will hold with its dramatic opening title design.  Even titles with the right color, font, and the right effects can add so much to the film. And if made correctly, the audience will feel ecstatic when the movie starts. Which is helpful because it sets the tone/mood in which the audience should feel. Like if it is a horror movie, then the audience should feel spooked from the beginn
