 For the making of my commercial, the technology I used was my phone. I used an editing app on my phone and learned how to edit videos on my phone. I learned many thinks on making a video like cutting, transitions, splitting, and adjusting clips. This experience has made my technology skills better and has made me more knowledgeable in editing. It also gave me more editing experience that I can use for future projects. For example, I can use this experience when having to make videos for other classes, clubs, or making videos for myself. I hope that I will be able to be able to advance my editing and technology skills more as I do this class. During this project I learned many things about the process of putting a project together. I learned it's important to know how I want my project to turn out, managing the time for my project, and planning a plan for how I was going to do my project.  After doing the last steps of my commercial the last thing I needed to do was go back and look over everything. To make sure that I liked the way it looked or if I needed to change any things.  After rewatching I did for the first time I originally didn't see anything I wanted to change. I thought what I did was good enough. But after rewatching it a few more times. I decided that one of the videos I chose payed for too long. So I decided to cut the video by a few seconds. I decided to cut it because this video was taking up a long portion of the commercial and it was not needed for it to play that long. After doing this the video didn't fully match up with the audio and it was a little short and ended to early. So I decided to make one of the pictures the few seconds I took away from the video. So that everything would match up with the audio. But after this I didn't like how on picture played longer than the other photos. So I had to do something else instead. I put back

The very last thing I had to do for my commercial was add the songs I chose. For me, it was really hard to corporate both songs into the video because I didn't know how to transition the song to the next song. I thought it would not look as good if the next song started randomly playing. So it took me awhile on what I was going to do. So the first thing I did was imported both songs. It was really easy to do because I screen recored the songs on my phone and then use the button on capcut that extracted the audio. Which made the video into an audio. I then decided on what song to play first. I chose the song sincerely to play first because I like the song better than the other songs and thought it would fit better with the videos and photos. So for majority of the video that song is played more than the other song. I also had to trim the song in the beginning of the song because it was too long and also had to trim the ending for the same reason. Then I added the next song to the vi

After arranging my photos the next thing I did was add animations, transitions, and effects. I decided to add these throughout the video so it wouldn't be boring and whoever watched the video was engaged and has interest in watching. I added transitions between the videos and photos. I also added an animation in the beginning of the video. I first added an animation to the beginning of the video. I added the zoom 1 effect which is a zoom out camera movement. For every photo, I would use the same transition. I would use the blur effect but for video transitions I would use different ones. I decided to use the same transitions for photos because I thought it would look better to have a more simple commercial and not have the viewer be overwhelmed with too many transitions. I used different transitions for videos because I wanted to display them more than the photos and make them look more interesting.Also I wanted people to know that a video was about to be played since it was a diff

What I'm going to use to produce my commercial is capcut. I decide to use this app because it was recommended by my teachers and it was free. I am also familiar with the app because I used it a couple times before. So the first thing I did was upload all my photos and videos I chose into the project. Once everything was uploaded I then decided to arrange it a little. I didn't arrange it any specific order. I arrange it until I liked the way it looked. I then decided to adjust every video and photo so it would all meet a minute or be under a minute. I made the photos 3 seconds long and adjusted the videos at different times because all videos were different time length. I couldn't keep the original video length for every video because some were too long. I was only able to keep one the same. It took me about 20 to 30 minutes to arrange everything.  Starting and planning this blog the very first thing I decided to do first was to choose pictures. I decided to do this first because I thought this would be the easiest to do. Since compared to the others things I had to pick they looked harder. I also have a lot of pictures I can pick from my camera roll and my mom's camera roll that I can use. Which is also why I wanted to chose to pick the pictures first. For my pictures I decided to chose pictures of when I was younger because I feel like they represent myself more and my favorites memories are from when I was younger and it's very nostalgic for me. For two of my videos I decided to chose ones with my siblings because they are a big part of my life and I wanted to show a little bit of my family and my relationship with them.  Hi, my name is Natalie Ehney and I am 15 years old and a sophomore in high school. One thing about me is I have 2 dogs. There names are neptune and rosé but we call her rosie for short. My very first dog was neptune and I got him in 6th grade. So it's been 4 years since I had him. He used to be very small but now he is more grown. I got my second dog 3 years later. My family and I decided to get another dog because we loved having another dog so much and thought that our other dog could use another dog to be with. Since most of the time he was alone because I had school and my mom was at work. At first my first dog didn't like her but soon he came to adjust to her and now they are like best friends. They are one of my favorite things ever. In my free time, I go to practice after school.
