Doing Makeup

Hello, and welcome back to my blog! Today, I'm diving deep into the  details of the filming process, focusing specifically on the makeup process. I was in charge of being the makeup artist. Having a makeup artist is important to be able to make the actors seems like there really living the part.

I made sure to gather all the necessary tools to bring our characters to life. My kit had makeup brushes, each serving a specific purpose in achieving the desired effects. Eyeshadow palettes I used to make bruises and shadows, to add depth to the actors appearances. And of course, no horror film would be complete without a fake blood, which is essential in creating scenes of suspense and horror.

The application process was stressful because it required  attention to detail. With the eyeshadow, I made  bruises and placed them on the face and hands and arms to convey the experiences our characters had endured. Then came the fake blood, I  applied it to our actors, transforming them into the unfortunate victims of our story. It helped create the illusion of wounds and injuries. Andrea, Luca, and Angelica each got there makeup done.

During Halloween I would experiment with my own look so I was able to have some experience when doing there makeup. It was a fun experience to see them transform. In conclusion, the makeup process was vital because it make it look more real and added to the genre and story. Stay tuned for more behind the scenes!
