Preparing for filming

Image
Welcome back !  In the meeting our priority was to completely establish what camera angles were going to do from start to finish of the film. This way when beginning to start our filming we can be prepared of what camera angles we want to do. This will also make us feel more prepared and organized. We started off with deciding what camera angles that will be done. As the director I decided on every camera angle on what should be done. For the beginning, of the film I decided that the film should open with a high angle. This camera angle would be great to start off since the character will be shown waking up from her bed. The following camera angle would be a wide shot to display more of the environment and show the set. Then as the character begins checking her phone  a medium shot angle would be done and then after a over shoulder shot. The over shoulder shot is important because it shows what is being displayed on the phone. Additionally, there would be a close up shot...

My planning for my short film

Image
Welcome back! This blog will give a detailed overview of my agenda and plan for achieving my short film. Starting off with the location I plan to film in my house. I decided that filming at my house would be convenient and cost efficient. I would film in various different spots of my house. I want to film some scenes in my bathroom, bedroom, and my kitchen.  For the casting, I’m planning to star in the film as the protagonist. My film focus on one person life and the situation they are in so to emphasis this I only wanted one actor to be in the film. Due to being the person starring the person in the film I would need someone to record. I decided to let my sister be the videographer while I also help direct everything. Having my sister record makes things more easy because due to living together I don’t need to arrange any transportation. I want to include my dogs in the background like background actors because I think it helps gives the effect of a regularly person and make...
