My Pitch

Welcome Back!
In today’s blog I am making pitches for my short film. Here are two pitches for my short film:
Pitch A: A girl cleaning out her closet discovers a box that has not been there before and then hear a knock on the door.
Pitch B: A person keeps relieving the same 5-minute morning.

I loved both these pitches but I decided to go with Pitch B. I decided to this pitch because the idea appealed more to me. There are so many different ways I can portray this pitch and make it fun. I also already have a good idea on how I want to film and where the location I would film at. The storyline is very interesting and I think it will help me improve my filming and editing skills. I didn’t pick the other pitch because I didn’t have all the props needed to do this. I wasn’t also sure how I wanted the storyline to work. I didn’t know if the girl should open the box and if there should be something in the box. I  felt that it was too cliche and vague.Pitch B would be more engaging to watch then Pitch A. So I  decided to go with Pitch B because I felt more confident in doing that pitch.
