CCR Part 1

This is my CCR Part one where ill be answering half of the questions. Stay tuned for the next video!

Script:

Hi, welcome to my podcast I'm natalie ehney and I'm going to be talking about my moving opening. The first question is How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues? Conventions are used by our product, which originally appeared in the horror genre. Horror is the genre of our film; and it can be fiction or nonfiction, and its goal is to frighten audiences. Our plan was to create a horror genre fiction. The horror genre included elements like  plot twists, a sense of terror, and cliffhangers. These components are a part of our own product. You can observe a guy looking for someone in our product. The guy finds a monster-like thing that is racing after him and stabbing a girl while he is looking for someone. The audience is left with a lot of unanswered questions, like what happened to the girl and who is after and murdering them. The scene occurs in a pitch-black forest, which conveys anxiety. We studied the horror genre in great length before creating this product. After conducting investigation, we found that the editing contains fade-in and -fade-out effects as well as low lighting, all of which are visible in our product. Since it examines serial killers and human psychology, this product reflects issues. Our product investigates the psychology of fear and anxiety in humans. These feelings are portrayed by the characters when they find themselves in a difficult situation and are unsure of what to do. Serial killers are a real-life problem that we deal with; in a way, horror films greatly increase public awareness of this problem.Since there are those who truly wish to harm people, we must constantly be alert and mindful of our surroundings. Horror films often take place in real-world settings, including houses or communities, emphasizing how prone regular people are to threats from other people. These movies feed on our concerns of being invaded, stalked, and violently attacked by both strangers and people we know. In general, horror films use the paranormal and human fear to examine problems that are relevant to everyday life. The second question is How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be contributed as a real media text?Since it creates tension and keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time, our product are able to captivate the audience. Because our characters share common anxieties like death and the paranormal, they help establish a connection with the viewer by displaying feelings that are relatable to everyone. By addressing these worries, our product helps the audience feel more emotionally invested. Our product also makes the characters more emotionally engaging by raising the stakes for what will ultimately happen to them and how their fate will play out. Because our product is open to analysis of its potential meaning and underlying messages, it can be submitted as a  media text. Both professionals and the audience can analyze the plot and characters. With our product's originality story  we may contribute to the growth of cinematic art. With an original offering, it can push the boundaries of the genre. Our product might be made available on YouTube or in movie theaters to attract customers. Since YouTube is available everywhere, it would be easier to reach an international audience. It is also cost-free and quite simple to access. Movie theaters that distribute our product provide their customers with a greater level of experience. That makes the narrative and our product even more excellent. In addition, it may lead to additional chances in the film industry. Thank you for listening to the first part of my CCR and I'll see you in my next video.

Movie Research: 47 Meters Down: Uncaged

Genre Research: 47 Meters Down: Uncaged What elements of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this movie have? The elements of the genre that I chose to base my final task on that this movie have is the lighting of the movie. In the beginning of the movie the movie has a really bright lighting but as the movie progressed the lighting becomes really dull and dark. I choose these elements because it's important for horror movies to have dark lighting to create the horror and dark effect. But also for the balance of having both light and dark lighting for our final task. What elements of the genre did this movie have that you like? Element of the movie that I liked are the narrative. I liked how the movie starts off it being a normal day for a group of teenagers but then eventually becomes one of the worst days of there lives. It shows a continuous timeline from start to end and doesn't cut to the end or the middle. It makes it easier to follow the storyline.

Opening Sequence

I enjoyed making this with my group, and I hope you enjoy it too!
