Hi Blog! Exciting news we wrapped up filming and editing. We are now in the final stages of completing our film. All we need to do now is add music. My group and I looked for music to add to our film. When looking for music we were looking for music that is spooky and scary. To give it that scary vibe that it's in horror films. We were trying to find songs that were like songs made by Radiohead, and Deftones. We decided to use the song song 'Back To School' by the music group Deftones. It was licensed by Warner Records. We sent the email acquire if we can use there music for our film. But we ran into a problem. We emailed them but there was no reply. Since we had no reply we can't use this music. Due to time being limited we resulted using copyright free music. This is okay though. Even though we didn't want to use copyright free music it still worked out for us. As copyright free music is super coinvent Since we just need to look for one on YouTube and just find one that we like. That's it for this blog. Until next time!
Genre Research: 47 Meters Down: Uncaged What elements of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this movie have? The elements of the genre that I chose to base my final task on that this movie have is the lighting of the movie. In the beginning of the movie the movie has a really bright lighting but as the movie progressed the lighting becomes really dull and dark. I choose these elements because it's important for horror movies to have dark lighting to create the horror and dark effect. But also for the balance of having both light and dark lighting for our final task. What elements of the genre did this movie have that you like? Element of the movie that I liked are the narrative. I liked how the movie starts off it being a normal day for a group of teenagers but then eventually becomes one of the worst days of there lives. It shows a continuous timeline from start to end and doesn't cut to the end or the middle. It makes it easier to follow the storyline.
