Production Blog: Going to the river and my house
The next scene I filmed was at the park by my house. Both of us walked to the location and then I started looking for a spot where I could film. At first I thought I found a spot but when I recorded the video came out dark and you couldn't see anything in the video. So I decided we had to chose a different location. Since it was dark I decided to chose a location next to a lighted area. The first scene that I filmed was a pan shot of my group member acting sitting at the edge of the floor and looking at the river. Also as a prop we had a envelope and you can see it in the pan shot right next to her. The next shot I took is a medium shot on the side of her opening and reading the letter. I wanted to get a different view of her reading the letter so I also did a over the shoulder shot. The next scene I filmed was a low angle. To do the low angle I had to get really low on the ground and then filmed her throwing away the letter in the trash can. I did almost every shot in one take. The only thing that was a struggle for me was the weather because it was really hot. The next scene I filmed was at my house. I needed to film two different scenes at my house. The first scene I had to film was for the beginning of the music video and the other scene I had to film at my house was for the ending of the music video. So the music video starts off at my house and then ends at my house. I first filmed the ending for the music video because I wanted to film the other scene in the morning and since it was the last scene I could film at night or day since it didn't matter. The only thing that mattered for that scene is the lighting. I filmed another over the shoulder shot and I filmed her leaving the desk. I finished filming it but I didn't like the lighting of the video since it was very bad quality but I decided to keep it anyways. In the morning the next day I filmed the last scene I had to film for the music video. I did another the over shoulder shot of her texting and another shot of her sitting against the bed. After that I was officially done with filming. Thank you for reading and bye.
